STACY L. MOON is Senior Counsel in the Birmingham, Alabama office of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP.. She practices in the areas of employment law, commercial litigation; and construction law, and has additional experience in insurance defense, government liability, and civil litigation. Ms. Moon is admitted to practice law in Alabama state courts, all federal courts within the State of Alabama, and the 11th United States Circuit Court. Ms. Moon graduated magna cum laude, from the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University in 1998, where she was on the Cumberland Law Review. She graduated from the University of Montevallo, summa cum laude, with a bachelor of arts degree in History and Spanish. She has been active in DRI since graduating from law school. As well as being a member of a number of different committees in DRI, she served as Chair of the Lawyers' Professionalism and Ethics Committee from 2009 through 2011 and is immediate past chair of the Law Practice Management Committee.
