Member Spotlight - Sarah Lovequist

Sarah E. Lovequist is the Director of Thought Leadership and Marketing Communications at Litigation Management, Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio. She currently serves as membership retention vice chair for DRI’s Women in the Law Committee (WITL), and is an active member of the publications subcommittee and the WITL Seminar marketing subcommittee. In 2013, Ms. Lovequist was presented with an award by the Committee leadership for her contributions to the 2013 WITL Seminar’s marketing committee. Specifically, Ms. Lovequist was honored for crafting blog posts that educate women lawyers on how their careers would be enhanced by attending this seminar, thus adding additional weight to the seminar’s authority.
Ms. Lovequist earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2001, and is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. In addition, she graduated summa cum laude and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Ursuline College.
During her career at LMI, Ms. Lovequist has served as a Project Manager and Director of Client Services. Both positions focused on exceeding client requirements and needs, and working to improve internal and external project processes. In her current position, Ms. Lovequist continues to cultivate client relationships to ensure expectations are being met. She also maintains awareness and provides education on current legal trends and events, and works to promote and enhance LMI’s reputation.
Prior to joining LMI in 2006, Ms. Lovequist litigated both subrogation and insurance defense cases, handling matters ranging from insurance bad faith and contract disputes to product liability and mass tort claims.
In addition to being active in DRI’s Women in the Law Committee, Ms. Lovequist is the program vice chair for DRI’s 2014 Nursing Home/ALF Seminar; she is a member of DRI’s Medical Liability and Health Care Law Committee, Drug and Medical Device Committee, Toxic Torts and Environmental Law Committee, and Law Practice Management Committee. Ms. Lovequist is also a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA), and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA).
Beyond her professional life, Ms. Lovequist enjoys spending time with her husband and two-year-old daughter, cooking and experiencing new foods, traveling, and reveling in pop culture.
