Retail and Hospitality | Lunch Break Sessions

When:  Dec 4, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM (CT)

Social Engineering 101
Presenter, Yanai Siegel

All members are invited to join the Retail and Hospitality Committee for our next Lunch Break Session.

Social Engineering is all about using deception to convince someone to click a link, download a malware-laced document, or otherwise reveal personal or other critical information, to generally gain your trust and leverage that trust to gain access to something that can be monetized. Social Engineering is about people, and often no technical expertise is required.

This web session is designed to introduce you to the basics of Social Engineering tactics, so that you may better understand and protect yourself and your clients from the common ploys that succeed more often than not.

Click to Register! After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

If you are interested in leading a future conversation, email Committee Chair, Megan Peterson at meganp@spsr-law.com.
